Jaye has been involved within the field of teaching for over 14 years. Formerly an educator of the Montessori Method for young children, she found herself “called” to India this past summer where she taught English in a village primary school. Her interest in Eastern culture and philosophy along with her passion for yoga inspired her to recently complete a yoga teacher certification in the beautiful, volcanic region of Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. In her vinyasa classes, Jaye presents a series of asanas representing both the physical and spiritual practice of yoga. Drawing on her previous experience with Iyengar yoga, proper alignment is reviewed and modifications are demonstrated to assist all levels. The postures are balanced with simple breathing techniques as well as an overall awareness of our bodies energetic systems providing a basic framework for self-exploration, healing and rejuvenation.
Francesca completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2013 and continues to studies of the Ashtanga System with Manju P Jois, Margarida Tree and her own personal practice. She is committed to sharing the Yoga practice with those committed to learning.
