Jaye:
Jaye has been involved within the field of teaching for over 14 years. Formerly an educator of the Montessori Method for young children
jaye, teaching yoga classes on the treasure coast, she found herself “called” to India this past summer where she taught English in a village primary school. Her interest in Eastern culture and philosophy along with her passion for yoga inspired her to recently complete a yoga teacher certification in the beautiful, volcanic region of Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. In her vinyasa classes, Jaye presents a series of asanas representing both the physical and spiritual practice of yoga. Drawing on her previous experience with Iyengar yoga, proper alignment is reviewed and modifications are demonstrated to assist all levels. The postures are balanced with simple breathing techniques as well as an overall awareness of our bodies energetic systems providing a basic framework for self-exploration, healing and rejuvenation.

Yoga brings balance to my life, a union of body, mind and spirit. I am blessed to have wonderful teachers that help me practice the eight limbs both on a
nd off the mat. I try to carry the Ashtanga tradition in class, but the yoga is the teacher one breath at a time.

Shauna committed to my yoga practice after realizing the healing properties yoga can bring to your life. I felt compelled to teach yoga to share this life changing discovery. My teaching method is an Ashtanga based hybrid vinyasa influenced by the many wonderful teachers I have been blessed to learn from with an emphasis on the fun and inspirational side of the practice. Karen
I was drawn to yoga about 15 years ago and immediately
Karen, yoga in fort piercefelt the benefits of practice, particularly the breath. I luckily found One Yoga Planet (or I could say I was lucky enough for it to find me) where I developed a deep devotion to the Astanga system. This influenced my decision to enroll in the 200 hour RYT certification with Margarida, truly a remarkable experience. I believe that yoga is transformational and can provide the necessary tools for dealing with the challenges we face in our daily lives. I am blessed to be part of a phenomenal teacher/practitioner community and spirit that emanates from “our little studio.” Namaste!
Yvette:
I have been teaching for 3 years and pra
beginner yoga in fort piercecticing for almost 15 years. I remember taking my first yoga class and discovering the incredible peace it gave me. Since then, I have found the practice of yoga to be invaluable in healing and centering amidst all the ups and downs and uncertainties of life. Yoga teaches us about the way we approach life, and allows us to practice new approaches on the mat so we can take them out into our daily lives. Opportunities to practice compassion, lovingkindness, and equanimity are all offered by life every day. Yoga helps us develop the awareness to see where these practices could be applied to improve the wellbeing of ourselves and others, both in the physical practice of yoga and in our relationship with life off of the mat. We are all beginners in one way or another. Enjoy the discovery of beginner-ness, because it means you are on the path of learning and growing spiritually, mentally, and physically.
